Nancy Silver Hargreaves
Chief Executive Officer

Nancy Silver Hargreaves has been with WCI for 25 years, the first 19 as Executive Director and the last six as Chief Executive Officer. Under Nancy’s leadership, WCI has grown from a small local provider for eight people with developmental disabilities into a statewide organization with a budget of $11 million that serves several hundred people in 46 homes, three Residential Divisions and myriad specialized and individualized programs. Shortly after joining WCI, Nancy led it to open its first home for individuals with sensory disabilities, and shortly thereafter, created a Deaf Supports Division. WCI under Nancy has become a recognized leader in advocating for community residences and community supports for people living with disabilities. She is a member of the Massachusetts Association of Developmental Disabilities Providers (ADDP), Mass Council of Human Service Providers (MCHSP) and the American Network of Community Options and Resources (ANCOR). Nancy is a graduate of Boston University and received a Master’s Degree in Education from Lesley College and a Certificate in Business Administration and Management from Harvard University. She lives in Waltham.

These visionary leaders have made meaningful community participation a reality for the nearly 500,000 Americans with disabilities ANCOR providers support.  The ANCOR Foundation Legacy Leaders Circle honors our finest and most influential leaders, while creating an endowment to fund the development of future leaders in our field.
